I hope to have a separate site to go to for my geek ramblings but for now, you're all going to have to just site through 'em for now.

Most of my geek friends/readers know that I am a Java developer by force, but a PHP developer in the heart. Having said that, I've had the privlege of learning something fairly new in the Java world: Grails (or Groovy on Grails...whatever).

I'm so excited about all this in fact that I think its quite possible that my little outbursts of joyous laughter are beginning to annoy my colleagues. If I'm not annoying them, then I'm sure I will be soon. I keep discovering how easy it is to do things with Grails and wonder to myself, why would one ever wanna go back to plain old boring Java. I've yet to find a reason to do so happily.

Once I get my Geek Blog up and going, I'll be updating my thoughts on Groovy/Grails (as well as PHP) as often as I can so feel free to drop by there sometime as well if your looking to get your geek on. For now however, my non-geek friends are going to have to weed through the geek stuff and my geek friends are going to have to weed through my other stuff.

Incidentally, I could fix it with category sorting etc...but I think I want my geek blog to look different, etc from the more personal site. Who knows, I'll likely change my mind a million times.
