Works Every Time...

This was originally going to be a nice peaceful blog entry about being able to sit out on my porch on a nice sunny afternoon and enter a blog on my last day of vacation. However, thanks to Charter Communications superbly sh*tty service, it is now a rant.
About 15 minutes ago, the sun was shining, it was 70+ degrees and the mosquitos were nowhere in site. Now its a breezy 68 or so which still isn\'t bad, but the sun has gone behind the clouds and I am actually shivering in the breeze.
In order to get a flippin\' connection I had to cycle the power on my \"always on\" cable modem several times. Finally resorting to unplugging the son of b*tch and physically beating on it 5 or six times in quick succession and plugging it back in. Ta *freakin\'* Da, it works and now we have a Rant instead of a lovely description of my 5 days away from work and technology. Now I\'m not in the mood...
