Woohoo!! I am well on my way to providing my own hosting for this site, (well sorta my own, still not my equipment...). When I originally signed up, it was through GeekHosting. However, things went south with that provider in the fall of 2004 and they appeared to no longer be in operation as you couldn\'t get a reply to ticket requests, emails, or even get anyone on the phone. Andy has since left and found greener pastures. I on the other hand wasn\'t able to do so right away.

Since then GeekHosting has been taken over by another group and they\'ve been extremely helpful and cooperative. However, while I owned the lifewithryan.com domain, they really had control over it. Therefore, I\'ve now transferred control to myself by signing up with GoDaddy and now I pretty much have full control of my domain at last.

That will help out big-time when I move the site to its new location. Overall the process has been quite simple. Now we\'ll just have to see what breaks when I actually get the thing moved over.
