Not only did I successfully complete the "Hot Wing Challenge" today over lunch, but while doing so, a little something I posted over at Digg concerning a funny geek-related ad that I read, made the front page. (Currently over 740 diggs).
So does that combination make me a "hot geek?" Perhaps not, but still...today was a good day.
The bad news is that my site no longer validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict...I think I have some bad posts that I need to clean up...*sigh* (Yep, not hot, but Geek for sure).
Well first things first...which part don't you understand?
XHTML 1.0 Strict is a set of rules and standards in which if obeyed, one can guarantee that the website obeying these rules, (thereby "validated") will appear correctly for all browsers.
These rules are set forth by a group called the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), so think of them like you would IEEE for Electricians in a way.
Since I'm not always careful in my posts, sometimes I break a rule here and there and my page no longer validates.
