WTF?!?!? is up with the collection of inconsiderate, \"rules don\'t apply to me\" bastards in this frickin town?!? On my way in I ran into more than a few \"oblivious\" folks that seemed to have no idea that the dumb things they decide to do on the freeway affect many...MANY...other people. Just dumbf*cks out here I swear!
Then ya got the dipshit lady in the parking garage today pretending that she was qualifying for Daytona 500, (complete with sticker on the back of the soccer-mom-van saying so), that nearly plows into to me and has the nerve to look at me like I\'m the dipshit. If there was ever a time I wanted to use my car as a weapon...today would have been the day. My morning didn\'t start off well to begin with and I sure as hell wasn\'t in the mood for \"the Madison Collective.\"
*PHEW* now that I\'ve dumped that, back to my story...we were getting Olivia bottle ready last night while she crawled around the floor. I then picked her up and sat on the couch with her to give it to her and she wanted nothing to do with it. Just kept looking for Carrie and throwing a fit that she wanted her mommy. Reluctantly I gave in, (I like to feed her at night cause I don\'t get to feed her during the day...quality time I guess).
Next thing I know Carrie is saying \"Ryan, there\'s blood\" and immediately we both we\'re sick to are stomachs trying to find its source. Turns out she got herself a pretty nice gash on her little pinky. Probably not enough for stitches, but enough to freak me out at first. Anyway we cleaned it up a bit, (which really pissed Olivia off), put on some tiny bandaid combination that we made to fit her tiny little fingers and all turned out well.
Carrie informs me this morning that her finger looks a bit red and raw so she cleaned it up again and we\'re just gonna watch it. She has a doctor appt. on Monday so we\'ll have the doc check it out and make sure nothing looks bad...
Anyway, after an hour or so, we sorta calmed down and I went looking for the source of the cut...I crawled all over the kitchen, etc and can\'t find a thing. My only guess is that she was playing with a plastic ladle and there was some plastic that seemed kinda rough inside the hole in the handle. I\'m thinking she may have got her pinky in there and it sliced her. She never cried when it happened though...so we\'re still dumbfounded...
Anyway, the clock outside is chiming 8am, so it\'s time to get to work...
