This week is really taking its toll on my. I\'ve been working 10 hour days to make up for missing Tuesday due to a funeral. Lemme tell ya, getting up at 5:00am to come to a place where I am either busy as hell, or scraping by for something billable to do isn\'t all that motivating. That\'s one thing Carrie & I were talking about last night just before bed. The I.T. world is such an inconsistent place. You have weeks go by where its nothing but nose to the grindstone stone, head-down-eyes-forward-back-slouching work and then almost like magic....nothing...not even crickets chirping man...

This sort of situation worries me...when you know there\'s something that has to get done, but finding that something takes you just as long as it takes to do the soemthing that needs being done...ya follow?!?

Anyway, my MythTV is coming along nicely. It actually works on my monitor right now, but I blew up my channels database so I have do some more setup. Then I have to buy some cables to hook it up to the TV for \"go-time.\" However, finding the time to do all of this is quite difficult. At least its been difficult this week.

With all the stuff going on this week, there really hasn\'t been much time to do anything. Our 5-year anniversary is this Friday and neither of us have had time to prepare anything for it. We\'ve got tickets to go see \"Chicago\" on the 29th, so we are probably going to just do cards and maybe some dinner Friday and then celebrate our anniversary on the 29th.

Amongst all this, its nearly Halloween and we haven\'t got our costumes yet, (we want to dress up this year...I do every year, but this will be the first time Carrie joins me...) plus I\'ve got to find a good face picture of Olivia so I can do a pumpkin portrait of her. All this takes sweet, precious, time...*sigh*
