Some Light Reading Ryan on Jul 27, 2005 12:55pm
I found some interesting links that are worth reading. Possibly thought provoking, but more chuckleworthy than anything:

  • Topping the list: Even cave-women have needs... (surprised that Andy hasn\'t posted this yet...)
  • Why is it that the Japanese men are so infatuated with robotic women? Are they even more perverted and desperate than yer average Linux User Group Geeks? You have to wonder the implications of such things...hmmmmm
  • Okay, okay...everyone knows I really like the \"different\" automobiles because their well, obnoxioulsy different (Scion xB anyone??). This one however is over the top but makes perfect sense, and if I could buy one without Carrie divorcing me, I would. Tired of payin\' for gas anyway...(I actually saw one this morning on the way to work. It\'s actually a \"Corbin Sparrow\" and they have since gone out of business, however the link is to a company that is attempting to resurrect them. I still want one.)

Enjoy!

I bought a Scion XB in December and I love that little car. It\'s black cherry pearl with low rider wheels and the euro tail lights. It gets great gas mileage and the ride is comparable to the Corolla my youngest daughter drives. My first born bought one at the same time I did and it\'s been a great car for moving her stuff in and out of dorm rooms. Just in case you were interested.

Welcome Colleen...

I long for an xB but alas, we have the Element. We opted for that since when we test drove the xB, we brought along the stroller and the \"pack \'n\' play\" and that was about the xB could hold in the back. For as much as we head north, it would\'ve been a tight squeeze for all of our stuff plus our daughter\'s things. *sigh* someday...someday...(but by then, the novelty will have most liekly worn off and I still wouldn\'t be \"cool\").
