So Much To Do

Things are really starting to move along at work. I am transitioning from a more \"sysadmin\" type role to a developer role. Considering I have been trying to break into that line of work for coming up on 5 years, its very exciting. I am told I needn\'t worry about my junior level of expertise, so I am moving forward with as much gusto as my low-level of confidence will allow.
I have alot of changes and additions to do on this site yet such as: update the TGF comic in the Get Lost section, get my image galleries setup, get the family section working, and build more admin pages.
Outside of that sort of thing, I am working on a small java-gui alarm clock that needs work but is nearly done. Plus a java based instant messenger that I wrote a few years ago. It is in serious need of a re-write and I think it\'d be neat someday to offer some sort of package deal to helpdesk environments, etc.
On top of that I\'d like to find time to get out on the water. We\'ve been out once in the kayaks, but we didn\'t pay that sorta cash to use them once a summer. I\'d really like to register for one of these trips.
Everyone keeps telling me I should do it now before baby arrives or I\'ll get none of it done. Guess it\'s time to start biting the bullet.
