Professional Misbehaviour

In light of a recent post concerning Randy Moss, I began to wonder:
Should professional athletes, actors, etc be held to higher behavioural standards since they are in the public eye, and are quite often, role models for our children?
See my thoughts on this in the comments section.

However, if you want that \"bad boy\" reputation, then misbehave all you want. If you are doing it for publicity, its dispicable and a good sign your career is going down the proverbial shitter, by all means, be an ass.
However, keep in mind, that you are being watched, and there is a nice little rhyme that goes something like, \"Twice I did right, and I heard never. Once I did wrong, and I heard forever.\"
Meaning no matter how big you think you are, you pull something dumb, you\'ll be remembered for it.
To be in the public eye is to be in a place of responsibility and accountability. Not only that, but why would you put your own reputation on the line? To me it doesn\'t make sense.
Yes, yes, abso-freakin\'-lutely, YES! Behave yourself...
