I on the other hand *have* heard of it, and am in most aspects, way way WAY behind the ball. However, this is not entirely bad. There are a plethora of podcasters out there that are, to put it nicely, *incredibly boring.* You may say to yourself, \"Well Ryan, your not exaclty the shining example of interesting yourself\" and you would be most correct. I would be the first to agree with you. However, the horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE reality is, I really *want* to podcast. Seriously, I think its just the technology and the fact that I never shut up that beckons me. For now I\'ve manage to fight off the temptation. Using my blog as an example, this is not at all a popular place to visit on the web. My traffic is obscenely low each month, and as most of you can tell, I don\'t exactly get a large number of comments. Still I appreciate those of you that come back and occasionally weigh-in on topics, etc.

My fear with podcasting is that now, not only do my faithful readers have to wade through boring blog posts, but then they\'d have to listen to me drone on and on and on about mundane topics nobody really cares about but me. Not only that, but it would be yet another blow to my ego in that nobody would listen anyway! So until I find a way to be less boring, I don\'t think I\'ll be posting anything anytime soon. (Alas, you all are saved).

I was going to have an \"audio blog\" section available on the site for those times when I just had to say something about whatever but was nowhere near technology, but I\'ve kinda given up on that for a while too. That may indeed be resurrected someday when I\'ve actually go time, but you can rest assured that no matter how badly I want to jump on the \"Podcasting\" band wagon, you won\'t have to be listening to me, on a cheap PC microphone talking about the activities at the birdfeeders in my backyard anytime soon.

Now, won\'t you all sleep better knowing that?!?
