Out of Sorts

It seems I\'ve been a bit out of sorts the past few days. Not really sure why, but I attribute it to the little things at work that I have to deal with. One of my assignment forces me to work with some folks that really seem to be unorganized, and since I myself am an unorganized person, it makes for *UGLY* work days.
On top of those more \"mundane\" type activities, I really feel like I am rolling up my sleeves and diving deeper and deeper into our java framework. This of course is allowing me to work with less and less help from my co-workers, but at the same time, make me feel like I really have to tread water or sink to the bottom of the coding ocean.
Furthermore, I keep falling behind in my time-tracking and its making for some really difficult mornings trying to remember what I\'ve been working on for the past two weeks. I really need to be better about keeping up with that...after all, its our company\'s bread & butter we\'re talkin\' about.
At home, things are quite busy and I hardly got to see Carrie since she had a CPR class. While I got to spend some quality time with Liv, it would\'ve been nice to share dinner with my wife too.
Overall, I think I am just in the funk of winter and am anxiously awaiting spring and the possibility of getting outside for walks with Carrie and Liv as well as some much anticipated kayaking in the north woods. (I need to practice my wet exits and bracing strokes.)
Finally, I\'ve got the possibility of some extra work on the side, which will no doubt bring in some much needed extra cash, it will also pull me away from my family. *SIGH* The vicious cycle continues...
