On The Fritz!

Well, it happened...my laptop has officially died. Just goes to show you, now matter how much you avoid windows, the hardware problems will always get you in the end.
I had a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 and apparently we have 3 other models that have the same problem I was having. Too much heat, not enough cooling. They are supposed to be going out for repairs today or tomorrow so we\'ll see what happens.
Currently, I am trying to decide whether I want another Debian install or to make the jump for Gentoo. Debian is the best as far as I am concerned but I am starting to hear alot about Gentoo. We\'ll see how my buddy Ray likes it as he is fighting his way through an install of Gentoo now. (I suppose a third choice could be a Mac if they decide to replace the laptops all together. Anything to avoid windows...)
In other news Carrie and I got to hit the water this weekend and went kayaking down the Yahara for a couple of hours on Saturday. It was a beautiful day but our arms were very tired and we both have some rather strange looking sunburns.
Finally, we are only a few weeks away from the big ultrasound. We\'ve decided not to find out what sort of bun is in the oven, but part of me really wants to know. I need some sort of release for all of this excitement. If I rely on Carrie\'s instinct...its a boy. We\'ll see, because she is quite often right about her instincts...
