On any other day in this area, it\'d be windy...unless I wanted it to be. You see, I had a busy morning and had to get Carrie\'s oil changed, and a couple of new tires put on. After that I had to trek on over to Toy R Us to pick a few games that Olivia will want when she gets older...at least we *think* she\'ll want.

They are running a \"buy-one--get-one\" sale on a bunch of cool board games. So I picked up \"Candy Land\", \"Chutes & Ladders\", \"Operation (the Shrek version)\", and \"Elefun.\" Of all of those, I can\'t wait to see her play \"Elefun.\" Its rather gross when you think about it. This poor elephant has a bunch of butterflies up his trunk which get blown out and you have to catch them with the butterfly nets. It actually would be quite entertaining to watch little kids play I am sure. However, I can\'t wait to pick \"earwax\" out of Shreks ear in \"Operation.\"

I also picked up two more games, \"Catch Phrase\", (we played with my family once and I still laugh about that night), and \"Trivial Pursuit:90\'s Edition.\" I figured I grew up in the 80\'s and 90\'s so finally some questions I can answer...uuuuhhh, maybe not. I read just one card and couldn\'t answer a damn thing!

And finally, I bought myself a cheapo $10 stunt kite. I\'ve always wanted one and couldn\'t wait to try it. (I haven\'t flown a kite since I was probably 10 years old.) Wouldn\'t you know it...there was absolutely NO wind. Zip, ziltch, nada! That is a rather rare occasion in this area. If I\'d wanted to cookout with a charcoal grill, we\'d have had gale force winds and 20 less shingles on our house. Heh, welcome to Life With Ryan *sigh*

Anyway, I\'ve got some moonlighting to do, so I better get to it...
