A couple of things I learned this weekend:

• No home improvement project that I take on will go easily...ever
• Something as simple as changing the lightbulb will involve me making a seperate trip back to the hardware store

I know there is more that I learned, but seeing as how its Monday night, I seemed to have forgotten the details.

Whenever we pick up something for the home at the store, this fear of, \"how bad can I mess this up?\" runs right through me. I think I truly am getting better, and my list of power tools is growing, but I don\'t think the sweaty palms will ever go away completely.

All in all, there are new bulbs in the fridge, one above the dining room table, and a new medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Now if I can just keep things from falling apart, we\'ll be okay. Never a dull moment...
