Finally, after over a year of my wanting to build one, I finally have a MythTV (for those of you who don\'t want to click on the link, think TiVo on steroids). Sure it cost a bit more to make, and it took time on my part, but it does so much more than just record, though that IS primarily what I\'ll be doing with it.

It\'s built and I just watched my first recorded show, Gray\'s Anatomy. Being an old fart now...I can\'t stay awake all the time to see the shows I want to watch so now I can be a couch potato now when I am awake. ;)

Anyway, as I\'ve said before, I LOVE being a geek and is sure has its advantages...(hey it pays the bills...). Plus I have the delusions of grandeur like building one for my brother, sister, and mother so we can all video conference too. I doubt it will ever happen, but it\'d be cool none the less.

Well, enough of that, wish me luck in my Fantasy Football game tonight. I\'m ahead so far and if I win, I will still be in second place all alone. Still will be a game behind Sully.

Finally, I have some more pics Olivia transferred over to the mac, so I\'ll hopefully get those up sometime this week for those who\'ve been wanting to see how much she\'s grown.
