More High Quality Software from Microsoft

...that is if you\'re a virus writer, or a *real* spammer. (The crap that I have to do for my client is more of an optin newsletter...I\'m clean man, really!)
This interesting story. It seems that there is no end to M$ crap. It just seems to keep spewing forth like \"Old Faithful\" on steriods.
When will it end? Personally I am a linux user and more often than not I use a Mozilla based browser. Granted once that takes off, maybe we\'ll find just as many security flaws in that but for the moment if those security flaws exist, they aren\'t being exploited.
It often gets said around the office that Microsoft has a very successful product on there hands that works flawlessly...the most successful virus distribution system in the world. Between IE and Outlook, its amazing that many corporations still function. I am baffled every time people lose jobs in IT because there just isn\'t enough cash. How about spending less time cleaning up after viruses, or actually training your IT staff to know how to think past the end of a \"point-n-click.\"
Someone in the high-ups at these places needs to sound off like they have a pair and quit selling their soul to Redmond. Don\'t get me wrong, RedHat, SuSE, etc, they\'re all quite expensive as well. There are other options, but many corporations discount the Debian\'s and Slackware\'s of the world because there is nobody to point the finger at when something breaks.
I admit, it is nice to be able to pass the buck, but the more I see that happening the more I realize that \"passing the buck\" and not taking responsibility for anything is a *major* problem...but I digress.
Point being, people actually PAY REAL MONEY for the garbage that M$ puts out and eventually find themselves painted into a very tight corner with severely limited options. They PAY for that, then lay people off. Show me the sense in that...and don\'t even get me started on the latest M$ rage...becoming a *patent whore* Someone in the Redmond office so much as farts now and they patent it...disgusting. (If you ask my wife, at that rate, I\'ll owe the blue boys of Redmond alot of money in no time flat!)
Anyway, I\'m hungry...I need to go get a breakfast wedge...thank God I only have to click \"Submit\" once, or else I\'d have pay M$ for adding this blog entry too!
