It\'s been over 24 hours, (I think), since my last entry, so I figured \"what better time than over my lunch period to bring out the inner geek inside?\"

There really isn\'t much to report on except for the fact that this weekend I will be going here in order to find some cheap hardware to replace our old PC at home. Also, if the deals are good enough, I\'ll be building one of these. At first it will cost more than just buying a TiVo, but in the end, with all the other crapola a geek can throw on one of these things, it will be far more useful. Make you wonder, if everyone was a geek, (or at least knew one), how the TiVo folks would stay in business. I\'ve already had someone ask me to build them one, after I get mine built. At one point in time, I considered trying it as a sideline business, but since TiVo has dropped its price so much, there\'s now way I could compete.

Did I mention however, that as I am waiting in line to get into the shop, it will be about -7 degrees outside. MMMMMM lovely...yesterday we had a January Thunderstorm and it was near 40 degrees out, and two days later, hell could actually going to freeze over! (Hey if that happens, maybe I\'ll actually get a raise?!?)

All hopes aside, I am planning on doing some moonlighting here in the near future in order to help make ends meet.
