Lost...in Commercials! Ryan on Oct 04, 2006 11:22pm

Any LOST fans out there? Anyone watch it tonight? Anyone else a little more the bugged that the commercial breaks seemed a little too close together?? We thought so too!

This post is somewhat embarassing for me as I hate to admit that I watch way too much TV, but Lost is addicting...or it was until your TV-HIGH gets interrupted every three minutes to watch commercials.

The good thing is, I've built my own TiVo, (MythTV...google it, I'm too lazy to link to it tonight), and we'll therefore be recording every lovin' episode of this stinkin' show and fast forwarding throught the commercials...WITH NO ADS!! If I didn't think someone was going to beat me to it, I'd edit out the commercials and post them online myself...

Or maybe the 6-million plus Lost fans should band together and flat out boycott anything advertised during that timeslot...(which would invariably destroy the show, etc, etc) so I guess most of us will just sit back and take it up the tailpipe if we want our Lost fix...well those of us without Myth boxes anyway...

I am a 24 fan and I agree commercials suck. I need to check out this MythTV thing. Sounds cool. Season 6 will start in January. Yeah thats 3.5 months away, but the show is sooooooo worth it. Remember where 24 last left us... Jack abducted by the Chinese secret service or government operatives getting the crap beat out of him (for an illegal raid on the Chinese consulate where the Chinese Consul was accidentally shot and killed by a Chinese security guard while shooting at Jack's team) asking to die and the Chinese operative mentioned you are too valuable to die... and the camera pans out to the barge sailing out to the ocean (most likely to China). Stay tuned 24 is coming!
