Here I sit at Andy\'s favorite internet cafe preparing for our development team\'s first ever \"Code Jam.\" Basically we invade a local internet cafe, (with free internet access mind you...), and code away. Its somewhat intimidating because I don\'t know what I don\'t know, and don\'t want it to be painfully obvious to my cohorts.

In the meantime, I am kickin\' back with some Java, (of the drinking variety), and listening to this funky music that they are piping into the dining area.

I got here early so I could be sure to grab a wall that had an outlet, and Andy is supposed to bring a power strip. Its all so exciting in a caffinated sort of way.

Another reason I came early was because I expected to have a little bit of trouble getting connected. That couldn\'t have been further from the truth. I booted to windows, just to make sure it was a linksys router, and indeed it was. Then I rebooted and jumped into to linux, kicked off my cardmgr, and it found the network immediately and connected.

I\'ve been here all of 20 minutes already and am in love with this environment, if only they had some cushy chairs! Ya know, a geek could get used to this!
