I\'m Wiped Out... Ryan on Sep 27, 2004 11:18am
...not just physically, but mentally as well. I had to work a couple of hours this weekend to make up for leaving a bit early on Friday for one of our doctor appointments.

I am working 4 ten hour days this week so I can have Thursday off to run errands, and its kicking my tush...I\'m tired.

Plus on a mental scale, I\'ve been wrestling with some code that is making absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. It\'s literally cause me to get up and walk away from my desk a few times already today.

On top of that, a certain individual here keeps trying to get a rise out of me by claiming that Linux is bad, and that even Windows is a better solution. He took great pride in pointing out a certain article stating that a few larger companies are converting things back from Linux to Windows. After further discussion ensued, it turns out that they are leaving Linux because they failed to plan to have the expertise to handle the migration, which eventually he agreed that it wasn\'t Linux to be blamed for a certain companies less than stellar experience with it, but the company\'s lack of knowledgable staff. They have plenty of Microsoft folks that are more than adequate at working with Microsoft products, but nobody there knew how to use Linux. Can you say DUH? You don\'t ask your accountants to go drive your construction equipment, why would you trust your M$ zombies to run your Linux environment...

Anyway, this has been a good breather...back to the code...

Remember, though, Ryan that M$\'s product is based on the premise that companies will shitcan their IT staff, adopt Windows, have untrained monkeys configure it and then have to pay gabillions in $$$ to have some consulting firm (which tithes back to Microsoft, I might add) clean up the mess.

It\'s the Microsoft Way, sucka!
