Well, technically I am *NOT* a spammer since the mailings I am doing for a client are all "requested" mailings, but it still doesn't make me feel any better about the numerous inboxes getting flooded at this very moment.
This client in particular has an extremely successful email campaign that would make any spammer wet their pants. I suppose a huge factor in that success is that the recipient is expecting and actually wants this to come to their inbox.
Anyway, I still really don't like being the medium through which this message passes, but it pays the bills.
In other news, I've been linked to from a very popular blog run by a co-worker of mine, (my PHP mentor so to speak). You can find a link to Andy's site in the Get Lost section of my site. I don't expect that it will drive much traffic my way, but I'd hope for a little. As I've stated before however, I am probably not as entertaining and his site makes this fledgling of blogsite look, well...pitiful. But I haven't grown in to my new shoes yet, so I hope to improve upon that at another time.
Finally, I am getting so excited to be "daddy" that I just can't stand it. Have you ever wanted to jump outside of yourself, run into the next room, have a little spaz dance, and then jump back in? If you have, well...that's just weird, but you might just understand how I am feeling right now. And the little arrival isn't expected for quite a long time yet. Everyone keeps telling us, get sleep now while we can. Hmmmm.....
