One of my few, but repeat, readers emailed us and told me that I didn\'t have enough Olivia stuff up here as of late. This is utterly and completely true and though I don\'t always blog about my wonderful wife and darling child, you\'d be surprised to know that they are the reason I started this. That way our families and friends could keep up with us whenever they wanted to.

Here goes with the Olivia update:
Liv is thriving, learning to hold herself up quite well. During \"tummy time\" she can hold her head up for what seems like an eternity. She\'s starting to look over her left shoulder alot more too. For a time, we were worried she wasn\'t doing that enough.

She also has been getting a bit crankier with her mom and dad about bed times and naps. Poor Carrie has the task of trying to get her on some sort of schedule, which as of late, Liv has been fighting all the way. For sanity\'s sake though, we\'ve given in a bit and hope that it doesn\'t get her used to a sleeping/napping crutch by use holding her, or offering a pinky when she gets tired to help her go to sleep.

Carrie\'s mom and sister are heading our way for Easter so it will be good to see some more family. My brother and sister-in-law didn\'t get to stay too long, so it will be nice to have some more company. Whenever family is around, we remember how badly we want to move closer to someone in our family. You can always use a good family support structure, especially when raising a child for the first time. There\'s no class you can take, and all books are different, etc to reference when things change. We try to remind each other that babies fuss, babies cry, and babies throw curve balls at us constantly. However, being the neurotic parents we are, we worry about everything. (I am not just referring to Carrie and I here, but first time parents everywhere.) Whenever we talk to someone about it, they nod their head and agree that the first time around, you worry yourself sick. We do a good amount of that.

I must say that the trip to the doctor earlier this week was Olivia\'s first in quite some time, so that has got to be some kind of record for us. We\'re used to seeing the doc once a week for anything and everything.

Olivia is up to 15 pounds and Carrie says she\'s pudgy. While I can\'t argue that Olivia has some cheek and double chin things happening, I don\'t like to use the word pudgy. But, in the end, she is a little \"pudgers.\"

Overall the Headley household is doing well, and I really think Carrie is missing her friends from work, if not at least someone her age to talk to, or maybe just someone who can talk at all.

That should just about bring ya\'ll up to date...I\'ll try to get some more pictures posted in the gallery, but its already so huge as it is I am going to have to either prune it down, or write some better code to handle thumbnails, page-numbering, etc. But that is for another blog...maybe when I get more UGT.

Thanks Ryan. And Carrie I miss you more than you know!!! Sometimes I feel like I just need someone who \"can talk at all\" also! :) Glad to hear that all is going well. Sounds like Olivia is growing up just perfectly. I better get that outfit sent down there soon or she will be grown out of it before she even gets it. Take care!

Hope all is going well with you and \"Filet Mignon\" \"T-Bone.\"

Oh I must say that comment made me chuckle. I am sure that he will laugh too! Yes, all is well here. Nothing too new. Just waiting for summer so we can get the bikes out! Later, Amy
