Hate When *That* Happens!

Today, we were supposed to head downtown to see Phantom of the Opera. We had tickets for the 8:00 show...ummmm no...make that the 2pm show. Seeing as how it\'s now 6:00pm and we\'re getting ready for the 8:00 show...need I go on?!?
It\'s actually kinda funny though, since we were so nervous about leaving Liv for the night, now we don\'t have to. Instead though I *DO* believe we are heading to Stoughton to eat at a new joint we\'ve been wanting to try. And now, since all of the Phantom shows are completely sold out, (that\'s what they said on the phone), it gives us an excuse to go to New York for our 5-year anniversary this year, and see it on Broadway...(actually I think its on 44th street, but it doesn\'t matter, it\'s New York...)
Happy shoveling everyone!

Doh! there I go again.

Thought I\'d quick write to say \"Hello!\" and to tell you to kiss that beautiful little girl!
I would like to come visit soon, but need to pass through hell first. Here\'s a glimpse of what I hope will NOT come for you:
Last week Jerik was diagnosed with his 6th ear infection in his short 11 months of life, so we had to go see a specialist yesterday in LaCrosse to find out he will need tubes that will be surgically placed tomorrow.
Last week, the day we were at the appointment for the 6th ear infection, he fell of the bed in our room and now has two small buckle fractures distally on his ulna and raduis right above his wrist.
Then (of course there\'s a cherry on the sunday), our ENTIRE family came down with the flu this weekend!
I tell you what though, I think all of this is MUCH harder on the parents. Brent and I are nervous wrecks about his tube placement, Jerik will probably get through with flying colors.
He has already figured out a new way to get around without using his right arm. We call it the \"Boot Scootin\' Boogie\" (NO, I was not a Billy Ray Cyrus fan).
Ahhh, well. We will survive!
Carrie, I promise that we will all be healthy by the time you get back, or so I hope. I don\'t think I can take anything else!
Hugs to all!!!
