Believe it or not, its been a year...a whole friggin\' year since Carrie and I became parents. Neither of us can remember what we did before Olivia came along. We know/think we were busy, but we couldn\'t tell you with whom or with what. I know all you parents out there can understand.

She\'s gotten so big so fast and before you know it, she\'ll be running around, talking, writing on walls, throwing fits in stores, picking flowers in the spring and making snowmen in the snow. It blows my mind to think that all of this started from a couple of tiny cells...and now we\'ve got this wonderful little girl both brightening our days, as well as challenging us...teaching us even.

I would give more updates, but her one year checkup is tomorrow so I don\'t know the things like length, weight or percentiles etc, but I\'ll let you know. For now suffice it to say that she walks with our hands, (very quickly I might add), and sometimes even will take steps between Carrie and I, (with some encouragement). She\'s mastered stairs, waving bye-bye, blowing kisses, giving hugs, and we think she says \"buh-bye\", \"da-da\", \"ma-ma\", and \"ho-ho-ho\" which she just learned over Thanksgiving. We\'re amazed...
