Today is Carrie\'s birthday. Normally on ones birthday, you get to enjoy receiving things. However, I feel I am the one receiving things today. Let me \'splain:

You\'ve got Valentines Day, (which I screwed up), Sweetest Day, etc. but if it weren\'t for your *birthday* you wouldn\'t have anyone to celebrate those *other days* with. Therefore, I feel that Carrie\'s birthday is a time for me to reflect on how lucky I am she chose me, and how lucky the world is to have her in it.

Let\'s face it, I am not an easy person to live with, I am sure I drive her nuts and when Olivia gets older, she\'ll have two kids to look after. That has to be quite a load on her. Therefore, for that reason alone, I am a lucky man. But it goes way beyond that for many reasons, far to numerous to list here.

Suffice it to say we all know I married up, I recognize that fact, and Olivia and I are *VERY* lucky to share or lives with her. Now, if you\'ll all join me in wishing Carrie a very Happy Birthday!

Now if we could only start celebrating this holiday...
