Halloween is Officially Over Ryan on Nov 01, 2004 6:26am
In a city that is notorius for its Halloween riots, so much so that its made national news a few time, we managed to squeak through this Halloween with very little trouble.

My Halloween wasn\'t as fun this year as I didn\'t get to dress up at all and hand out the candy...I was just myself and handed out the goods. Mind you, there were still a few kiddies afraid of me, but overall I didn\'t freak anyone out like I normally do.

The best costumes I saw last night were a plumber with a beer gut and a butt crack, and an Oompa-Loompa. The latter was my favorite because the child couldn\'t have been more than four years old. I didn\'t think to snap a picture as he was in a crowd of about six kids total so my hands were kinda busy passing out sugary goodness. Overall, we nearly went through all of the candy so I know we had a *good* night.

Carrie and I also got several good comments on our pumpkins. (Pictures here and here.

Finally, this is the month...or it should be. By this time next month we\'ll have a precious life in our hands. Its un-nerving to think I am going to be a daddy, but its awesome to know that we finally have the family we\'ve been hoping so hard for. This should be a great month.
