Since hump-day, my geek world fell apart. My largest client\'s main db server took a huge unplanned dive and I\'ve been spending over 8 hours a day the past three days cleaning up the aftermath. Needless to say I am mentally whipped, you can even see the scars!

Luckily today went rather well and I was able, (with the assistance of our friendly neighborhood unix admin), get the box rebuilt and back in a functional state, slightly better than before.

Now I get to work part of my weekend pointing our app servers back with causing too much of an interruption....fun, fun fun...
