For the LOVE of ...

Its been a long day here at work. The day started off with a debate between two fellow co-workers on gun control. I submitted my 2 cents, but really didn\'t feel that I could contribute to that as I really am not sure how I feel about it. It was a very respectable, (and entertaining), debate to watch however. There were a few instances and references to abortion, on which I have some *VERY STRONG* feelings. I won\'t share them in this forum however. At least not right now, so close to an election I am liable to insight the wrath of every liberal in the immediate area. (Where I work, that\'s most everyone).
You could view me as a conservative liberal, or a liberal conservative. There are many things I agree with on both sides of that fence. But, as usual, I digress...
During this election year, I\'ve had more exposure to politcal thought than I have my entire life which, in a way, is rather sad. My house wasn\'t a political place and I am not entirely sure that I *EVER* saw/heard my parents talk about voting. However, I\'ve just about had my fill of politics. Enough to last me for the next two elections is seems. Basically, its driving me crazy, not just because I don\'t agree with everything that gets said...(I agree with many things)...but I liken to listening to the same song over and over and over and over and over again and again. It gets repetitive.
The bigger problem is that I am in the middle of a \"No music is working for me\" phase so putting on my headphones and listening to my music collection is just as bad.
Potentially, another big problem is that if Dubya wins, I\'ll have to listen to more and more of the same, the conspiracy theories, the fact that he\'s a nutjob, the fact he can\'t speak in public, etc. At least if Kerry wins, we\'ve only got two conservatives in the office and they sit way in back...together...(I wonder if that was on purpose).
