Finding Time... Ryan on May 12, 2004 5:10am
It seems I have to get up earlier and earlier to find time to do anything or get anything done anymore. One good thing though is that all shows that I watch are finally done for the season, with the exception of one. (That show doesn't start until 9PM CST, so its not like I'd be doing anything anyway).
Yesterday I cleaned out my truck in hopes that if I give the illusion that it doesn't suck, I'll get a better deal on it. It even has that nice car smell.
I still haven't had the chance to get out on the water with my kayak, and even more, get Carrie out on the water with me. I am itchin' to get us both out there.
I feel really bad for Carrie because she drives for 70 minutes one way to get to work and then has to deal with all of these challeneges. Then coming home and trying to find time to get other things done, or even just hang out together after dinner is hard. I guess that's why she's the bread winner. (I do try to have dinner ready by the time she get's home, and I'm actually not half bad at being a cook, when we have the right things in the kitchen. Problem is, trying to find the time to get to the store to buy what we need.) I can't imagine what its going to be like when we are parents as well. Most likely will start focusing on find jobs somewhere in the north where one can afford to be on a single salary and still feel like you can own a home and some land.
Anyway, there isn't much interesting content to talk about yet this morning other than I've really got my work cut out for me the next few days at work so it ought to pass the time well. If anything interesting happens throughout the day, it isn't like I can blog about that either since I can't get to my DB from work. That sucks because lunch time is a perfect time to take the opportunity to bore some more folks with my meaningless drivel.
