Its been an expensive week, and a fast one at that. I can\'t believe its Thursday already and we\'re halfway through September. I\'ll be a daddy before you know it!

As the title shows, its been an expensive week. We decided to splurge a bit and buy a new digital camera as an early anniversary gift to each other. (I think I got the better deal on that since I am the geek, so I think I\'ll have to find something for Carrie too, just a little extra anyway.)

Then we spent most of last night out to dinner at Laredos Mexican restaurant. The food was cheap and fantastic, and even better, they had a live Mariachi band. Believe it or not, I even recognized one of the songs as \"Guantanamera\" which is really a great tune, especially if you\'ve ever heard Arturo Sandoval perform it.

From there we went to Toys \'R\' Us and picked up a Diaper Champ and tons of other baby things. Overall, we\'ve spent ourselves silly this week.

This weekend I am alone most of Saturday and maybe I try and get some fishing in seeing as how I missed out on it last week. Hopefully some of the weeds have died back in the lakes around here and I\'ll actually catch something besides green gunk.

Well, s\'pose I should get to work...gonna be a busy day.
