Ear to the Ground Ryan on Apr 28, 2006 10:43am

I know....I KNOW! Its been a long time and all four of my readers are probably very disappointed. My job has been sucking the life out of me lately and I must confess that I haven\'t really had an interest in getting anything going on this site for a while. I\'ve got a sh*t ton of pictures and maybe even some video to upload for all to see, but its just not been on my list of top priorities. For that I apologize. If there is time this weekend, I\'ll do what I can to get some Olivia updates posted. For now, here\'s a quick list of things:

  • Liv is talking up a storm, at least when nobody but Carrie and I are around. She repeats just about everything we say and Carrie and I are getting really good at deciphering her language
  • She had one heck of a grand time at Easter...so much fun in fact we had to do a second Easter Egg hunt the next day. It was apparently the \"bees-knees\" to her.
  • She\'s started this crazy squealing thing...(so my sister Robyn got her wish!)...its the most ear-piercing sound I\'ve heard...almost as bad as a Mariah Carey tune...
  • I just bought my first 3-meter kite...spent $210 bucks on the thing and we havent\' had a lick of wind since the day I bought it. Mother nature hates me!
  • Our neighbors down the street will be putting their house up for sale this weekend...we don\'t want them to go! Their little girl is just a week younger than Liv and its so cute to watch them all play together. Plus, Carrie is really gonna miss having another stay-at-home mom around to talk to.
  • Finally, I think I\'m starting the \"keep the ear to the ground\"/\"put out feelers\" in the work force. There have been some things at my current place of employment that have me uneasy to say the least, not to mention, I don\'t exactly see eye to eye with a couple of them. At this point, the frustration level is so high, it may be easier to move on, than to keep challenging...we\'ll see what comes along

Outside of that, theres a new song that I can\'t seem to get enough of lately. Go check it out over at Andy\'s. I think it fits me quite well...more on that later maybe....

For now...I\'m spent...
