Dry Run Ryan on Jan 03, 2005 7:02am
Since I am going back to work on Wednesday of this week, the next two days are sort of a \"dry-run\" for Carrie and I. I am acting as if I have to get up and shower, etc in order to be out the door by 7:30am. Today, I was fifteen minutes off, so that isn\'t bad. However, perhaps it would have been better to begin getting myself back into the swing of things last week instead of today and tomorrow only. That\'s not alot of time to get myself all in order before I return to work.

Today also serves as a test for Carrie to get used to not having me around to help with Liv. I think its going to be harder for me actually because I am just crazy about that little girl and all I wanna do is love on her. (I\'m sure Carrie won\'t mind, I\'m not entirely sure she\'s on board with this whole \"dry-run\" anyway.)

Anyway, part of getting back into the swing of things is getting back to blogging. I\'m behind so far, but I am sure you\'ll all understand. (*DAMN* I still have to get those pictures posted...)

Let me know when you\'ve gotten it down to being right on time....and then let me know how you do it....I\'ve been 15 minutes late for the past 6 years

I know it sounds anal, but it was really a dry run for sleep schedule. I am starting to realize now that its going to be tough to go until 5pm without a nap.

Wait, we can use our kids as an excuse for being late??? Um, I\'ll be in around 11:30a tomorrow then....

I\'ll be in around 4:30

Just plan on being there 15 minutes early then if you are 15 minutes late you are still on time. You cant forget plan B (which drives kim crazy), I set my clock by the bed 10 minutes fast. After 12 years in the military where you have to be on time, you have to learn ways to always be on time. AAAHHHH sleep......I think I remember what that is.
