We left Saturday around 7:30 am and got up there in about four hours. Olivia was travelling well, Carrie got to nap a bit, we made great time, etc. All was well. And I believe that they won by some ridiculous score 45-0 or quite probably more as it was 37-0 when we left at the half. Overall it was a pretty good weekend.
Then it came time to leave and somewhere around Green Bay it hit me...some virus from out of blue ran me over like a Mac Truck and had me draggin\' butt from GB to Madison and all of Monday. Olivia ended up with it too. So there we were yesterday, I\'m down for the count, Olivia is crabby as hell, and poor Carrie had to deal with it all on her own. Usually if I am home ill, I at least can help out a little, but yesterday it was all her.
Since this was Liv\'s first cold, we were kinda of nerved up about the whole thing, but she seems to be toddling throught it with nothing more than a bad mood, so overall, I think we\'ve been lucky. I just hope she drops the cold quickly so we can all get some much needed rest. I\'m still quite light-headed at times, but am at least able to muddle through the day so I hope Liv is on the same path. That little girl amazes me, she doesn\'t let anything slow her down really...
In other news, my fantasy football team is now tied for first place in the league that I participate in. I was able to just barely squeak out a win over Sully though to be fair, I missed the draft so he built my team for me. And a damn fine job he did too. Too bad he just played the wrong people yesterday...or else he\'d have beaten me by 12 points or so. It feels good to be winning for once, especially after last year\'s more than disappointing last-place finish.
One more football thing before I go...\"Hail to the Redskins!\" and what I wouldn\'t give to throw the 3-0 record in the face of the Packer fans over at my old job!
