We\'re planning on hitting the north woods this weekend for Memorial Day. (Two years ago we went up there and it actually snowed!!). Anyway, I wanted to take the kayaks, so I bought new \"feet\" for our Saris car rack only to find out that our existing crossbar is too short!!
No luck getting the kayaks up north this weekend. I am soooo bummed. We \"could\" take Carrie\'s Jetta, but we wanted to take Ellie up and show here off to everyone. Even Carrie is excited about this car. So maybe on our return, we\'ll at least be able to get out on the Yahara Monday and Tuesday. That will at least be nice, but the whole point of going north with the kayaks, was so I could teach carry to fall out of the darn thing in \"clean\" water...
Guess it\'s time to go by one of these.
Anyway, this may be the last blog, (maybe one more tomorrow) until I get back. (There isn\'t an internet connection up there for miles, which is kind of why we like to go there so much).
