So, I was going to go spend my hard-earned Best Buy gift certificate on either an XBox, quality sound speakers for our PC, or a GPS. I was giddy as a school boy, that is until I showed up at Best Buy.

In general, I love that store, I could hang out there and browse for hours, but for some reason, this trip really cheesed me off.

• It looked like the place was goin\' outta business, empty shelves, dirty, etc
• All out of the XBox, apparently everyone is awaiting the arrival of XBox-2 this fall...furthermore Best Buy may not be getting anymore in aniticpation of the XBox-2.
• Over in speakers, I wanted to hear what the different packages sounded like. Not gonna happen today as I ran around trying to find someone to assist me since there was no sound going to *ANY* of the systems. [surfer dude voice]\"uhh, yeah we blew out the system yesterday...you can always buy it and return it if you don\'t like it.[/surfer dude voice]. K thanx, bye...
• Didn\'t even have the patience to try and find someone to assist me with the GPS stuff...left

Needless to say, I think I had a bad afternoon at Best Buy. Also, I think I\'ve decided on getting the GPS with my gift card. I\'ll get more use out of it, and can always buy and XBox from one of those used places...I never get to play the video games I have anyway...and speakers, I can get those anytime. Overall the GPS will be the best choice for me. Just wish I didn\'t have to go back to Best Buy...
