Back to the Ole Grindstone

I love to have long weekends...I hate coming back from them. Today I seem to be suffering from a *SEVERE* lack of enthusiasm and focus. There are times when I seriously think I am contributing but very little to my team.
Granted I am a *bit* green with my Java development, (web based anyway...apparently there *really* is not other kind considering we do absolute ZERO thick client stuff), I just feel at times that I contribute very little to reducing the actual workload that Kevin and Andy have to deal with.
On the good side, I *am* learning, but on days like this, it almost seems that I forget everything I\'ve learned. Lack of focus can really mess you up. Maybe I need some new tunes or something.
Anyway, its noon already here in Wisconsin, and time for me to get some grub. If I can avoid falling into a *food coma* after lunch, maybe I can get some real work done...

Aww, don\'t sweat it, kid. You contribute plenty. Besides, we all have our roles: Kevin\'s is to throw his phone receiver at the wall when the clients do something boneheaded, mine is blogging all day, and yours is clearly worrying about the next programmatical shoe dropping and leaving you holding the application development bag! I think it\'s a healthy mix, personally.

And no, client-server development in Java doesn\'t count as Java. Too bad, so sad. :)
