Back to Normal...Sorta

Well, things are back to normal...somewhat. I am back to developing code and not trying to duct-tape a crashed server back together again.
It\'s always a relieve to return to a quasi-normal state, that is to say, normal for me, quasi-normal to the average person.
Today was just one of those days that felt like if there were any light at the end of the long dark tunnel it would be train. Believe it or not, that tends to be normal for me as Murphy\'s Law is always in effect for me. There weren\'t too many surprises today. However that same large client that I\'ve been racing around to fix the past few days was supposed to get back with me on whether or not is was clear to roll-out their changes to the world never got back with me. Which inevitably means that I\'ll be doing it tomorrow along with another round of spamming. That will of course put me behind another whole day again and be nearly *useless* to our internal dev-team.
Finally, I have this nagging feeling that something I asked for at work a few weeks ago is going to get shrugged off and ignored. I almost feel like I am going to get handed a nice warm cup of STFU...(if you don\'t know what that is, I am not going to spell it out...my family reads this ya know.) THAT will be a big disappointment as well as a possible life-changing event.
Its times like this when you have to tie a knot in the end of the rope and hang on for dear life...
