4 Fantastic Years

It was four years ago today, right about this time in fact, that I was waking up in my hotel room at the Pine Mountain Resort in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
I was getting ready to go for a swim while my brother was on the lookout for my bride to be. You see, that was my wedding day. The day I married the most wonderful woman in the world.
They say the first years are the best, I can say that they\'ve been the best years of my life thus far, and we\'re looking forward to many more. Perhaps this year however, has been the most special. After trying everything we could to start a family, nothing was falling into place until one day we (she) took a little test. That test came back as we\'d hoped, but wouldn\'t let ourselves believe. Sure enough, our family was starting. We\'re due just a little over a month now, and extremely anxious for our baby\'s arrival.
I still remember all the details of the wedding, the fall colors on the river in Niagra, WI, all of our neices and nephews dressed to the nines, and only our closest friends and family packed into a small-town church. I remember one of our neices in particular crying...no, *really* crying. She\'s so grown up now and ready to graduate this year. My sister was crying as well and many people that we talked to afterwards, and still today, say that it was one of the most emotional and beautiful weddings they\'d attended. (Of course, I am partial).
Anyway, I need to wrap this up, but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you babe! And here\'s to many, MANY more years of the same...I love you.
