18 Strings of Fun

So last night I go over to my buddy Sully\'s house to play a little guitar. We spent the the first hour or so talkin geek though. (I\'ve mentioned before that his blog looks so much nicer than mine, but that\'s another subject). We chatted about PHP and ideas for each others\' site etc. Needless to say, talkin\' geek is one of my favorite things to do.
Later on however, we started fiddlin\' with the strings and worked on a goofy littel tune I wrote called \"Back Door\", and moved on to Tangled Up in Blue by Dylan, and even some \"Ghost Riders.\" The latter happened to be probably the most fun because I got to do the fun parts, of which has to be experienced to be understood fully and appreciated, so I\'ll spare the commentary.
Overall, I think we sounded pretty good and Bryan convinced me that we could play a few tunes in front of his wife. It was blast and I look forward to letting my wife listen in on a session.
After a bad week, yesterday was a great release since music has always been a big part of my life. It\'s good to have an outlet...
*sigh*....back to work....
